We’ve been getting so much rain over here. Yippie! Lovely breeze, cool weather, soothing sounds of raindrops, smell of fresh wet sand, hazy vistas, and dark clouds that make you realize that God is the s**t! Only problem is that most times, I’m at work when it’s raining, then I spend few precious minutes longing for my bed, blanket, and remote control. But on the whole, I’m loving it.
I love to travel. I love the feeling that my life is in limbo while i'm on the journey, in the plane or the car. It's like everything i'm going through is holding still until i reach my destination. Then of course, i love the destination itself- it's different, new places to see, new things to do, new people to meet, new food to eat, etc. If i had the money, i'd go round the world, to every capital of every country. Traveling is definitely one of my Joys of Life.
I love rides-the adrenaline, the unconscious screams, and the dipping hearts. I've been to the amusement park 4 times since last month, bringing out the child in me. It'll never get old. I hope i'll still enjoy it when i'm 60. The rides and atmosphere are mad fun, and definitely one of the Joys of Life.
Surprisingly, i've caught the FIFA World Cup fever. I don't go out of the way to watch football, but when i do, i actually enjoy it. I watched most of the World Cup matches and I am so for Spain (and Paul the Octopus lol). What i loved most about this World Cup was that so many unexpected things were happening! Made for some interesting viewing i tell you. But now, the football season is here, and typically, guys are glued to the TV screen. Not that I blame them mind you, cause I think football is one of the best games in the world, and one of the Joys of Life.
Did you ever have a yellow rubber duckie? My little cousins have had a whole bunch, and i remember how they made bath time fun!
Who has never had a toy? I bet no one. It may be a homemade cloth and straw doll, or an expensive Barbie, but i bet everyone has had at least one. It's one of the many joyful things about childhood, and about life. Even now, it's interesting to see how kids let their imaginations fly with their toys.
I love ice. What can i say? People even know that about me. I always ask for ice with my drinks, and my ice tray at home is never empty. Even when i'm shivering cold, i can't let go of my cold icy water. Also, there's that white, transparent, clean, pure look about it that i love. Ice is definitely one of the joys of my life.
