Boo!!

Halloween is kinda freaky because there is so much emphasis on The Scary. But you have to admit, it's certainly not everyday you find an excuse to dress up in outrageous costumes, eat so much candy that you can make your dentist a millionaire, and party it up with games, pranks, and scary stories. I bet people like Halloween because it brings out the child in all of us. And for once, we can get away with being outlandish.

Happy Halloween! You can see here for the history of Halloween.

Flighty Ballet Dancers

Ballet has always fascinated me. I've always wondered how the dancers can jump so high and make so many turns on their toes. Ballet is a dance that incorporates beauty and grace, and it's uplifting to see people move they way ballet dancers do. And have i said how fascinating it is?

We All Scream For Icecream

I absolutely love ice cream. It never fails to get me out of moody states. Don't judge me. I'm not saying take it every day (that would actually make me hate it), but it makes a really great and uplifting treat!

Into The Blue

I'm ashamed to say that i don't know how to swim! I think everyone should know how to swim to save his life. But apart from the utilitarian benefits of swimming, do you ever notice how graceful people look underwater? Hair haloing around their heads, bodies moving with the waves, beautiful. Swimming is one of  the things that make life enjoyable. I'm so going to learn.

A Splash Of Red

Anybody who knows me knows that i'm a fan of the color red. It's my favorite color, after black. But most times, i don't actually go 'all red', i splash it on instead. No matter how little the 'splash', i love the way it's so noticeable and daring! I love Red Splashes, be it your lipstick, belt, shoes, rings, or blouse.

Dearly Beloved

Most women eagerly look forward to their wedding day! Some plan it for years before meeting Prince Charming. I wouldn't know, but it is probably one of the happiest days of your life- well, at least it should be. For women, it's 'their day' - their chance to be the center of attention, and to dress up like an innocent princess, complete with their tiaras. Your wedding day signifies the start of a new part of your life. It's definitely one of the Joys of Life

Feathers For Accessories

Feathers immediately get me thinking about Red Indians! Feathers aren't Nigerian 'things' as such, and you can't very well work the streets of New York with a feather cap pointing to the skylines...or can you? More and more i've been seeing feathers everywhere- from hair bands to jewelry, and i think that's pretty fab, because i actually like them. They're really good for tickling you know? :D

Flower In A Glass

I really like flowers in houses, but they seem so high maintenance. So, i'd settle for a few stalks in a clear glass. They're something about them i like - simplicity. And i like to see the little signs of growth.
